Our Hen Haven is the perfect retreat for your feathered friends!

It comfortably accommodates 4-6 chickens, providing them with a cozy and stylish home. Plus, if you let your chickens out through the day, they will love the fresh air, exercise, and the opportunity to forage for bugs and plants. It's a win-win for both you and your chickens.  

The Hen Haven comes at a great price, and it includes a beautiful white paint finish that adds a touch of elegance to any backyard. Plus, it features a durable corrugated roof that provides protection from the elements. You’ll notice a heavy-duty weld mesh in some photos. We prefer to use this over chicken wire, as it’s a lot stronger and fox resistant. We don’t charge you any more for this. 

Enjoy the ease of collecting the eggs with the easy-lift lid, from the outside of the coop. Cleaning is a breeze with this design. You can change the location of the nesting boxes to suit your yard and preference.

There is a full-size door at the front to allow for easy access into the coop. You will notice there is a door at the rear of the coop and another door located on the inside of the coop to access the nesting area. Windows have been added to allow for airflow, and these have chicken wire over them to prevent the chickens escaping. The windows have perspex in place of glass.

All our coops are proudly handmade, in Forbes. We don't import any parts, so if you are looking at any custom adjustments such as changing the location of a door, window, or nesting box, we're more than happy to discuss your ideas.

The timber we use is H3-treated, which is suitable for outdoor use. Some customers have placed Bessa Blocks or bricks around the perimeter, so the coop sits on them, preventing direct ground contact, if you are worried about it being in a wet area. As long as the area it's sitting on is dry and free of puddles or standing water, you are good to go!

The coop is made from H3 treated pine and on the back half we have used Treated Pine Cladding, with a Zincalume roof, and heavy-duty Weldmesh Gal 25 x 25cm.

• A 50% deposit for normal orders and full payment on pick up or 2 days prior to delivery.
• Freight is available, although it is a lot cheaper to pick it up from us in Forbes NSW.
• Pickup assembled or flat-pack (panels are fully built) - The largest panels are 3m x 1.8m each. Measure your trailer and you can see if this is going to fit.
