Deluxe Hamptons Hen House

The Deluxe Hamptons Hen House is a great way to protect your flock in this beautify handmade coop.

The coop is made from H3 treated pine and on the back half we have used Treated Pine Cladding, with a Zincalume roof, and heavy-duty Weldmesh Gal 25 x 25cm.

The nesting boxes allow you to lift the lid from the outside to easily collect eggs and clean it out. You can change the location of the nesting boxes to suit your yard and preference.

There is a full-size door at the front to allow for easy access into the coop. You will notice there is a door at the rear of the coop and another door located on the inside of the coop to access the nesting area. Windows have been added to allow for airflow, and these have chicken wire over them to prevent the chickens escaping. The windows have perspex in place of glass.

All our coops are proudly handmade, in Forbes. We don't import any parts, so if you are looking at any custom adjustments such as changing the location of a door, window, or nesting box, we're more than happy to discuss your ideas.

The timber we use is H3-treated, which is suitable for outdoor use. Some customers have placed Bessa Blocks or bricks around the perimeter, so the coop sits on them, preventing direct ground contact, if you are worried about it being in a wet area. As long as the area it's sitting on is dry and free of puddles or standing water, you are good to go!

• A 50% deposit for normal orders and full payment on pick up or 2 days prior to delivery.
• Freight is available, although it is a lot cheaper to pick it up from us in Forbes NSW.
• Pickup assembled or flat-pack (panels are fully built) - The largest panels are 3m x 1.8m each. Measure your trailer and you can see if this is going to fit.
